I am Tiffanie Burkes, REALTOR for Two Rivers Realty in Jackson, MS, and a native of Senatobia, MS.  I attended Mississippi State University and hold a B.S. in Business Administration. I made Starkville, MS my home for almost 18 years and worked as a Property Manager for 13 years, which is where I realized my love for Real Estate. I relocated to Madison, MS in 2019 to be closer to family. However, I’ve continued that same Starkville trend here in the Jackson area, helping clients find that exact “space” to call HOME.

I am Margaret Deavours, broker/owner of Two Rivers Realty and a native of Laurel, MS. I hold a B.S. from the University of Southern Mississippi and following a successful career of over 15 years in the field of education and recreation for persons with disabilities, I relocated from Georgia back to Mississippi to be closer to family. I hold a B.S. from the University of Southern Mississippi and following a successful career of over 15 years in the field of education and recreation for persons with disabilities, I relocated from Georgia back to Mississippi to be closer to family. For 2  1/2 years, I worked in the corporate world as an outside sales representative selling technology hardware. I obtained my real estate license in June of 2003 and by December of that year I was already a top producing agent at Coldwell Banker Graham & Assoc. I consistently performed in the top 20% of Coldwell Banker agents internationally. I have developed my business by focusing on exemplary customer service and as a result over 90% of my business is repeat customers or referrals.

In October of 2012, I opened my own real estate company, Two Rivers Realty. We are committed to personal service and strive to educate our clients about the process of buying and selling and give them options on how to best navigate writing and responding to offers in a challenging market. The real estate industry has gone through significant change in recent years. It is important that buyers have an expert to help them navigate the process.

I have an ongoing committment to continuing education in this industry. I hold the CRS and the ABR designations. These REALTOR designations intend to help the consumer by providing highly trained members who are more knowledgeable of the industry and are committed to a higher level of service.

REALTORs who receive the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation have completed advanced real estate courses and have demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate. Fewer than 39,000 REALTORs nationwide have earned the credential. Every CRS designee is required to maintain membership in the National Association of Realtors and to abide by its strict Code of Ethics.The training available to CRS designees includes a strong focus on technology and its applications in the real estate business. Less than 4 percent of all licensed Realtors are Certified Residential Specialists.

The Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation is the  benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted  designation is awarded by the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council (REBAC),  an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS to real estate  practitioners who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria. Buying a home is no small matter. Besides being the largest financial  transaction you may ever undertake, it's probably also the most complex.  There are many good reasons to work with a qualified real estate professional; especially a trained professional who has earned the  ABR designation, representing  best-in-class buyer services. 

In 2021, I also added the National Association of REALTORS' At Home With Diversity (AHWD) certification. The REALTOR® commitment to diversity and equality is perhaps the strongest in real estate, going even further than the federal Fair Housing Act.  My personal belief is that any person that wishes to be a homeowner and can get financing to do so,  should be able to do so...safe from judgement and discrimination, in the area in which they choose to live.  

I believe in having a balanced life and I enjoy swimming, fishing, running, cycling, walking my dogs, entertaining and socializing with friends. I enjoy giving back to the community and I volunteer in various capacities, primarily through my involvement at St. James Episcopal Church in Jackson.
